Well, you know what. The 30-round magazines sitting on my shelf aren't harming anyone either, but if they were outlawed, law enforcement would not give me a pass, because I am not a rich, powerful elite, liberal journalist.
Equality before the law, goddamnit. How hard is that to understand?
The reason conservatives are pressing to have Gregory prosecuted is that we love to hear liberals making the case that Gregory's possession of a 30-round magazine wasn't hurting anyone. They're exactly right. So there shouldn't be a law against their possession.
