Unless you have an individual insurance plan with Aetna or UnitedHealthcare in California:
UnitedHealth to exit individual insurance market in California -- July 2, 2013
Aetna has already done the same thing in California. You can expect the dominos to start falling with them and other companies in other states.
Pretty soon, unless you have company-provided insurance, the government exchanges will be the only place left to turn.
